Martin finds out why fish are dying because of the heatwave

Tens of thousands of fish died in rivers and lakes during the recent heatwave.

The Environment Agency says last month's hot weather and low rainfall caused a drop in the water's natural oxygen levels.

In some lakes, pumps have been installed to help increase the amount of oxygen in the water.

The Environment Agency is asking anyone who sees fish gasping for air to report it to them.
