Artist Nathan Sawaya poses with one of his many Lego creations. This one is based on the Statue of Liberty.

Some of his Lego sculptures take up to three weeks to make.

The exhibition called 'Art of the Brick' is now open in New York, but there's a strict 'No Touching!' rule for visitors.

Nathan says he uses around 15,000-25,000 Lego bricks to create a sculpture of this size.

Roar! Nathan says this is one of his biggest sculptures - this Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton is 20 feet long.

The artists has around 2.5 million Lego bricks at his studio, and he has to go out and buy them all like everyone else.

Many of his sculptures are based on American life.

The exhibition will be open until January next year.

Nathan is the first person ever to use Lego in fine art sculptures.

Nathan says he gets inspiration for his work from his life and experiences... and also surfing the internet!

Sculptures you would expect to be carved from marble or stone, but made out of Lego!

This one is based on a famous painting known as Whistler's Mother by American artist James Whistler.
