A report, by a group of MPs, says more needs to be done to change the way we see women in the workplace.
The report says that although things have got better over the past 40 years (since a law was brought in to make sure men and women get equal pay), overall men still get paid more and there are still some jobs that are mainly done by men.
Most young men choose to be builders or electricians and other similar jobs, according to the report, and other jobs mainly boys pick are in IT.
For young girls, the report shows the most common jobs are as sales assistants or they become care workers, teachers or cleaners.
Jobs just for men?
So, we want to know what you think? Do you agree with the report? Or do you think there are just some jobs that men are better at, and others that women are better at? If so, what jobs should men do and what jobs should women do?
What do you want to do when you grow up? Do you think it matters if you are a boy or a girl when you choose what job you want to do?

"Women and men should be able to do the same. But I don't want to be a mechanic or a butcher when I grow up, so it's possible that a high proportion of women and girls might not want to be a driver or builder. So what we really need is good female role models who are going to inspire girls to want to do these jobs that are mainly done by men."

"I don't think there are jobs that only boys or girls can do. They should be able to do what they want."

"I don't think whether you're male or female should have any impact on what job you do. What matters most is that the job is done properly. In addition, I don't think it's fair that men get paid more, especially if women are working just as hard."
Ameerah, Glasgow, Scotland
"I think that all jobs should be open to both men and women because women are just as good as men. I also think it is a bit sexist to think that men are better than women at certain things."
Natasha, Bristol, England
"I don't think that there are any jobs that only boys or girls could do. It's what they want to do that matters."
Isabela, Devon, England
"It doesn't matter if you're a man or a woman because you can do whatever you want."
