New watercress eating record set at world championships

A new world record time has been set at the world watercress eating championships in Hampshire.

Competitors had to munch through two bags of the small leafy vegetable as quickly as possible.

Former world champion Glenn Walsh regained his watercress crown with a time of 36 seconds.
