A group of schoolchildren from Bath are celebrating after winning a robot building competition in America.

They beat teams from around the world with their invention in the Lego League Festival, run by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in the US.

As well as making the robot they also had to design a product that could help make life easier for elderly people.

The design along with the robot impressed the judges who crowned their team the winners.

We sent Martin to chat to the winners and to Gareth James, from the IET.
