English football star, David Beckham, is visiting China to start his role as a special ambassador for the game there.
He'll be visiting local clubs and schools to try and inspire more young people to play football.
It's hoped Beckham's work will improve the battered reputation of the sport in China.
The country's had match-fixing scandals in which dozens of officials, players and referees were jailed or banned.
Their national team didn't qualify for the 2014 World Cup either.
