More than 2,000 snakes have been discovered in boxes labelled as fruit by airport officials in Hong Kong.

The reptiles had been on a plane from Bangkok, Thailand.

The rat snakes and cobras had been stuffed inside bags and hidden in about 120 foam containers.

They've now been taken back to Thailand, where they were shown to TV crews and journalists. It's against the law to smuggle these animals.
