A leading feline charity says owners are putting their pets' health at risk by giving them too many treats.

Cats Protection is concerned the extra weight they carry around puts pressure on their joints and risks them developing health problems.

A quarter of Britain's cats are overweight - that's around 3 million moggies!

But many were treated to Christmas dinner, pudding and chocolate over the holiday period.
