Electrician's lights extravaganza

To enjoy the CBBC Newsround website at its best you will need to have JavaScript turned on.

A electrician has taken five weeks off work to put up 180,000 christmas lights around his home in Wiltshire.

There are so many of them, Alex Goodhind needed his power company to install extra cables.

It's all being done for charity, but he'll also need to pay the electricity bill.

It's though the cost of keeping the lights on over four weeks could reach £1,200.
