3D printer helps people walk by building leg supports

From building body parts to making toys, nowadays printers can do just about anything... and now they could help you walk!

Insoles and splints can take up to six weeks to make by hand, but the new technology is helping doctors create tailor-made support in just one day.

Researchers at Glasgow Caledonian University believe the new techniques used to create supportive splints could help millions of people with foot and ankle disabilities.
