Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has said, for the first time, that he is sorry for breaking a promise he made in 2010 about rises in fees for university students.

Before the last general election, he said he woundn't support any plans to raise the fees.

But since he has become Deputy Prime Minister, the Government has put the fees up.

This is the original version of his apology, but a musical joke version has been made.

Nick Clegg gave permission to the people who made the joke version to publish it on the internet so it would raise money for charity.
