Mega hills, rocks to dodge, sharp corners... speeds of up to 120mph - just a normal day for a rally driver!

Drivers from across the world have been in Carlisle for the latest stage of the British Rally Championship.

Rally racing is different from Formula 1 because it doesn't take place on a flat race track. It happens across 95 miles of rolling countryside, the ground is much more bumpy and the cars are just like your mum and dad's.

Ricky's been to meet young rally driver Elfyn Evans and even dared to take a high speed ride in his rally car.
