Olympics will be on TV in 3D

If you didn't manage to get a ticket to the Olympics, you might still manage to get a sense of the atmosphere, as it's going to be broadcast in 3D!

People with the right TV sets will be able to see the best of the action in a daily highlights show.

Only one live sporting event is going to be available in 3D, but it's the big one - the 100-metre men's final!

The opening and closing ceremonies will also be shown in all their 3D glory!

Not very many people will be able to enjoy the experience though. It's thought only around 6 people in every 100 have a 3D TV.

Everything will also be shown in normal 2D as well.
