Pictures: Exhibition about Jacqueline Wilson's life
Newcastle hosts an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of children's author Jacqueline Wilson.
An exhibition telling us about the life and work of Jacqueline Wilson has opened at the Seven Stories children's book centre in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. This is a room that looks like Jacqueline's bedroom when she was growing up.
Wondering where all the stuff's from? Jacqueline says she's been "delving into basements and garages and finding long forgotten childhood stories and old manuscripts and mementos".
She's best known for her Tracy Beaker books and has sold a massive 30 million books in the UK!
This is the first ever book Jacqueline Wilson wrote! It's called The Maggots.
Illustrator Nick Sharatt also gets a part of the exhibition, and some of the books on show are The Story of Tracy Beaker, The Illustrated Mum, Best Friends, The Suitcase Kid, My Sister Jody, Cliffhanger and Hetty Feather.
