A man has had his legs bitten off by a shark near Cape Town in South Africa.
He went swimming in the water even though the area had been closed off after someone spotted a shark. He lost one leg completely and had the other bitten off just below the knee.
The man, who's thought to be British, went into the water about an hour and a half after the shark was first seen.
A white flag was also flying which warns people a great white shark is in the area.
According to local authorities, three sharks were spotted during the morning.
The man was pulled from the water and taken to hospital by helicopter.
Doctors say he is very lucky to be alive.
