Steve Jobs, co-founder and boss of computer giant Apple, has quit his job.

He's become a legend in the world of computers and gadgets, because some say he's changed the way we all use technology.

He's overseen the launch of the iPod, the iPhone and most recently the iPad.

In the past 10 years, he's transformed Apple from a small computer company to a gadget superpower. It's now the richest company in the world.

Apple's gadgets are hugely popular worldwide, and fans say that's because they look good and they're simple to use.

He's been off work sick since January; and he's also had a liver transplant after getting cancer of the pancreas.
