But a fight between Arsenal's Gervinho and Newcastle's Joey Barton made the match memorable for all the wrong reaons. Barton said, "I shouldn't have lifted Gervinho up by his shirt and that's not the correct thing to do." It was Gervinho that was sent off though.

And it was yet another 0-0 draw at the Chelsea v Stoke match. Stoke kept up a strong defensive performance so Chelsea couldn't get the game off the ground.
