A silverback gorilla has taken a break from posing for photographers to try out life behind the camera.
Ya Kwanza, a 27-year-old silverback gorilla at Durrell Wildlife Park, had a go at filming with a camera hidden in a box covered with honey and oats.
The footage shows him checking out the camera before taking some pretty extreme close-ups of himself.
It was keeper Jon Stark's idea to give Ya Kwanza the camera to get a primate's perspective on life.
Ya Kwanza seemed pretty happy until he tried eating the branding on the case. When he realised it wasn't exactly a taste sensation he threw the camera back to his keeper.
