'Customer wanted us to pick up his pet tiger in New York'

Ross Gays of World Care Pet Transport is responsible for jetting animals across continents to their faithful owners.

He reveals to Business Daily's Lesley Curwen how he once had a close encounter with a giant tiger in New York.

"We had someone want us to pick up what he described as his cat from his Manhattan apartment - it turned out the cat was actually a fully grown tiger," he said.

Gays also talks about the stumbling blocks the organisation faces when transporting animals across the globe.
