Frustration as cuts and taxes hit Iran egg prices

Eggs, once seen as an affordable source of nutrition in Iran, are increasingly becoming a costly luxury in the country.

Producers say cuts in government subsidies and increased taxes have pushed prices as high as US$9 for a dozen.
