Easyjet to run new Jersey to Luton route starting next year
Easyjet has announced a new service to operate between Jersey and London Luton, its seventh route to the island.
Planes will fly to Luton five times a week, beginning in March 2016.
The airline expects to carry 32,000 people during its first summer of operation, and tickets will start from £16 one-way.
Easyjet's UK commercial manager, Ali Gayward, said the route would benefit local tourism, and provide residents with a new London route.
Easyjet already runs year-round services to Gatwick and Liverpool, as well as seasonal flights to Glasgow, Belfast, Newcastle and Southend.
