Landmark Jersey hotel changes hands

The new owners of Jersey's Grand Hotel say they have confidence in the island's tourism industry.

Hand Picked hotels did not reveal what it paid but estate agents recently advertised the property for £15m.

The company, which also owns L'Horizon, bought the 120-room Grand Hotel from the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Hand Picked chief executive Julia Hands told BBC Radio Jersey she was confident Jersey will continue to attract high-value visitors.
