Paul Dolan jailed by Jersey court for importing morphine

A man has been jailed for three-and-a-half years for attempting to import Class A drugs into Jersey.

Paul Dolan, 33, had previously admitted one count of being knowingly concerned in the importation of the controlled painkiller morphine.

Dolan, who gave his address as La Moye Prison, was arrested at the Elizabeth Terminal in St Helier on 20 January.

The Royal Court also ordered forfeiture of the drugs and issued a confiscation order for £224.77.
