Jersey to Belfast air route to open up from summer 2014

Airline Easyjet has announced it will begin operating a new route between Jersey and Belfast from next summer.

The airline said it would reveal details of frequency, timings and prices in October.

It will become the sixth route operated by the airline out of Jersey, which also flies to Gatwick, London Southend, Glasgow, Newcastle and Liverpool.

The company confirmed last month it would take over the Jersey to Gatwick route from Flybe.

That came after Flybe announced it would vacate its slots at the UK airport at the end of March.
