Jersey's Polish community will be represented with its own section for the first time at the Eisteddfod Festival of Arts and Culture.
Polish people will be reading poetry, performing drama and hip-hop in their native language.
The Festival of Performing Arts gets under way at the Jersey Arts Centre on Wednesday.
Wiola Mielczarek who chairs the Polish section said it was a great chance to promote Polish heritage.
She said: "There are not many cultural events with a Polish accent going on so hopefully it is just the beginning and the tradition will continue next year."
