A campaign to restore a historic Jersey building is being given a boost by a Channel Island brewery.

Sales of a Channel Island Christmas ale will raise money for the restoration of 16 New Street.

The Georgian town house was purchased by the National Trust for Jersey in 2003 for £1 and they have so far spent over £1m restoring it.

The Liberation Group are donating 10p for every pint of Christmas ale sold to help pay for specialist lighting.

Liberation Christmas Ale will be launched at the Fete de Noue celebrations in the Royal Square on Thursday 2 December.
