Heavy rain and wind cause flooding across Jersey

Flooding, fallen trees and debris have led to traffic disruption across Jersey, including heavy delays to school and commuter buses.

Winds of more than 60mph hit the island overnight and throughout the morning, resulting in fallen trees and flooding.

The gale force winds, coupled with a high tide and heavy rain, led to a number of roads being closed.

Roads had to be closed in Harve de Pas, La Haule to St Aubin's Village and Le Neuf Chemin in St John.
