Manchester attack: IoM police deploy 'additional resources'
The number of police officers on foot and mobile patrol will increase following the Manchester arena attack.
The UK terror threat level is now up to its highest level of "critical", meaning more attacks may be imminent.
A spokesman said additional resources are being deployed to offer "reassurance and enhance security".
Salman Abedi killed 22 and injured 59 when he blew himself up at the US pop singer Ariana Grande's concert on Monday night.
'Shoulder to shoulder '
Twenty people, including children, remain in critical care.
Isle of Man Police said they are taking a "proportionate response."
Speaker of the House of Keys Juan Watterson MHK has written to the Mayor of Greater Manchester to express the island's condolences.
In his letter he said: "Let me assure you that the people of the Isle of Man stand shoulder to shoulder with you in this fight
"At this time our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Manchester".
