A 26-year-old man has been charged with seven motoring offences after a 16-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in the Isle of Man.
A Renault Clio and a motorcycle collided on the Ballahutchin straight Union Mills at 23:00 BST on Saturday.
The car driver's alleged offences include drink driving, causing serious bodily harm by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene.
The teenager's injuries were serious but non-life threatening, said police.
The motorist is also charged with driving whilst disqualified, taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, driving without insurance and failing to report an accident.
PC Matthew Davison of the Roads Policing Unit has appealed for any witnesses to contact police headquarters.
