Douglas man, 50, admits importing heroin worth £56,000

A man has pleaded guilty to importing heroin with a street value of more than £56,000 to the Isle of Man.

Liam Patrick Flanagan, 50, and from Drury Terrace in Douglas, was found by police with 0.56kg (1.25lb) of the Class A drug in Douglas on 7 December.

He admitted the importation and possession of the class A drug at Douglas courthouse.

No bail application was made and he was remanded until sentencing on 19 December.
