Two killed in three-vehicle crash on Isle of Man

A couple has been killed and a third person seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash on the Isle of Man, police have said.

The driver of one car, a 79-year-old woman, died at the scene while her male passenger, 85, died later in hospital.

A 68-year-old woman, the driver of another car, is being treated at Noble's Hospital for serious injuries, police said.

The driver of the third car was unhurt, police said.

Witnesses to the crash, at 12:35 BST on the main Ramsey to Sulby Road, Churchtown, Lezayre, have been urged to contact police.
