Three fishermen have been rescued after their boat broke down in Douglas Bay.

The men, from the Isle of Man, were not injured and were taken to safety by Douglas lifeboat crews after being called out at about 06:35 BST.

They got into difficulty on the return journey after their vessel's propeller became entangled in a rope leaving it unable to move, an RNLI spokesman said.

The stricken vessel was towed back before it was moored at Battery Pier for repair.
