Pedestrian struck by coach in Braddan dies

A man has died after he was hit by a coach in the early hours of the morning on the Isle of Man.

Police said the vehicle, which was travelling towards Douglas, struck the pedestrian at about 01:10 GMT on Richmond Hill, Braddan.

The man was taken to Noble's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Officers closed the road for investigation work, but it has since reopened. Witnesses who saw a man in the area at the time are being sought.
