Halloween party stabbing: Man, 18, remanded in Isle of Man

A man has been remanded in custody after allegedly stabbing a 17-year-old seven times at a Halloween party in the Isle of Man.

Jack Bridson, 18, of Anagh Coar, has been charged with wounding following the incident in the Hilltop Rise area of Douglas on Saturday.

No plea was entered and the case was adjourned until Tuesday for mental health assessments to be carried out.

Police said the victim remains in hospital in a "stable condition".
