A Manx kennel owner has described winning at Crufts as a "dream come true."

Laura Merryweather handled her 18-month-old Pharaoh Hound, Muddy, to first place in the Post Grad Dog class.

Mrs Merryweather, the owner of Ynchreenoo show dogs, based in Maughold, said it was a moment to "treasure forever".

Another Pharaoh Hound from the kennels came first in the Special Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy in Breed classes.

She said: "I have been fortunate to get second place in class before at Crufts, but to actually manage to win two firsts in really competitive, tough classes is a dream come true and an amazing achievement."
