Man charged after Isle of Man cocaine seizure

A 28-year-old from the Isle of Man has been charged with "serious drug offences" after police seized almost £25,000 worth of cocaine.

Shaun Anthony Barlett from Douglas has been remanded in custody and will appear in court on 26 June.

He was arrested on 16 April after an investigation by the Isle of Man constabulary.

A police spokesman said: "This amount of controlled drugs, in a local context, is a significant amount".
