Two men charged after £30,000 drugs seized in Isle of Man
Two men have been charged with drugs offences after class A drugs with an estimated street value of £30,000 were seized by police in the Isle of Man.
The pair, aged 30 and 22 were arrested in Douglas on Thursday following an Operation by the Constabulary's Pro Active Team.
Both men have been charged with multiple drug-related offences and are due in Douglas Court House later.
Det Sgt Paul Holland described the seizure as "significant."
He said: "The Isle of Man Constabulary is committed to removing controlled drugs from within our island community."
"The Pro Active Team are committed to targeting criminal networks involved in the importation and supply of Class A controlled drugs, acquisitive crime and crime that effects the quality of life of island residents."
