Isle of Man Steam Packet ferry Snaefell goes on sale

One of the Isle of Man Steam Packet's catamaran ferries has been put up for sale.
Snaefell was taken out of service earlier this year, following a review of the company's sailings and fares due to increased freight competition.
Rival firm Mezeron introduced a daily freight service from Douglas to Liverpool in October 2010. However, it is ending the service this month.
Snaefell is advertised on the website Mondial Broker at an undisclosed price.
The vessel was launched in 1991 and can carry up to 500 passengers and crew and 88 cars.
