Manx firefighters tackle house blaze

Firefighters using breathing apparatus and a high pressure hose have put out a fire at a house in Peel.

Fire crews were called to a house in Charles Street on Monday evening and on arrival found that all of its occupants were out.

Because of the large amount of smoke, the firefighters used a thermal image camera to trace the fire which was in a second floor bedroom.

Damage was confined to the bedroom suffered heat and smoke harm.
