Boiler leak closes police station in Douglas

A police station in the Isle of Man has been forced to close because of a suspected boiler leak.

Lower Douglas Police Station in the island's capital will be closed "for a number of days", a spokesman said.

He stressed that the closure would have "no effect upon the quality of the policing provided".

All over the counter inquiries will be dealt with at the police headquarters in Douglas until the station re-opens.
