Youth council set to be established in Isle of Man

A Youth Council is set to be established in the Isle of Man, the Department for Education has said.

The department said it wants young people on the island to have a say on the decisions that affect them.

It said the youth service only seeks the views of its 3,000 members but they are keen to hear views from other youngsters who do not use the service.

The youth council will be led by youth and community workers in each area, the department said.
