Unemployment falls 10% in June

Unemployment in Guernsey fell by almost 10% in June.

There were 343 people without work in the Bailliwick at the end of the month, which was a decrease of 33 on the May figure.

At the same point in 2013, there were 411 unemployed islanders - meaning the jobless total has fallen 17% in the past year.

There were nine people in Alderney registered as unemployed at the end of June.
