Motorist pulled from car in China river rescue

A woman who accidentally drove into a river in China's Jiangsu Province was pulled to safety by a group of quick-thinking members of the public.

Police said that she stepped on the accelerator by mistake after a collision with another vehicle.

The four rescuers later received honorary awards for bravery.
