A Swansea car trader has been jailed for nine months for selling dangerous write-offs.

Liam Arrigan, 29, from Morriston, sold vehicles to online customers without telling them they had been involved in crashes.

A Swansea Crown Court judge said he showed a "reckless regard for safety".

Arrigan was convicted of two counts of supplying a dangerous product and engaging in unfair commercial practice.

The court heard his customers were forced to pay hundreds of pounds to fix the damaged cars themselves.

The scam was uncovered after a customer contacted trading standards to complain his new car was not road worthy.
