Three in hospital after A40 crash near Abergwili

A man, a woman and a child have been taken to hospital following a crash involving two vehicles on the A40 near Abergwili, in Carmarthenshire.

The Welsh Ambulance Service said the woman was taken to Morriston Hospital in Swansea with potentially serious injuries, after the crash at 10:00 GMT.

The man and boy were taken to Glangwili General Hospital in Carmarthen with non-life threatening injuries.

The A40 is closed in both directions for an accident investigation.

This is taking place between the A485 at Abergwili Roundabout and the B4310 at Nantgaredig.
