Errol Richards admits Carmarthen killing of Timothy John

A 22-year-old has admitted killing a man in a Carmarthenshire town last summer.

Timothy Simon John, 47, died in hospital 12 days after an incident on Morgan Street, Carmarthen, on 27 June.

Errol Richards, of Carmarthen, admitted manslaughter at Swansea Crown Court on Thursday - he had been charged with murder but the prosecution accepted his plea to the lesser charge.

Richards was remanded in custody until he is sentenced on 27 January.
