Swansea carers' charity Crossroads ceases trading
A carers' charity in Swansea has ceased trading, blaming changes in employment regulation and rising operational costs.
Carers Trust Swansea Bay Crossroads Care Service said it was working with insolvency practitioners, local authorities and funders.
The charity said it hoped to disrupt the carers it supported as little as possible.
It thanked staff and supporters.
A statement released by the charity said: "The organisation has, for many years, been able to absorb the financial pressures being placed on social care providers.
"However, following recent changes in employment regulation and rising operational costs, we have determined that we are unable to continue to do so, and that we will no longer be able to continue as a sustainable organisation."
