Online shopping giant Amazon has started recruiting more than 3,000 seasonal workers at its distribution centre in Swansea.

Across the UK, it will hire for more than 20,000 people in the run up to Christmas.

The Swansea distribution centre opened in 2008 and about 1,000 permanent staff are based there.

On the last Friday before Christmas in 2015, Amazon sold more than seven million items.
