Train services in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire are running as normal following delays caused by lightning damaging the signalling system.

Arriva Trains Wales said there were delays of up to 25 minutes on the lines from Whitland to Pembroke Dock, Fishguard Harbour and Carmarthen.

Fallen trees also had to be removed after blocking roads on the A483 in Llandybie and the B4310 in Porthyrhyd.

Several dozen people were left without power in Narberth following a storm.

A smaller number of customers also lost electricity in Burry Port.
