Plans for 117 affordable homes in Pembrokeshire approved
Planning consent has been given to build an affordable housing development in Pembrokeshire.
Pembrokeshire Housing Association has received permission for 117 affordable homes on land north of Milford Haven School.
The development consists of a mixture of one to four bedroom flats, houses and bungalows, as well as play areas.
The application was discussed by Pembrokeshire council's planning committee on Tuesday.
A report which went before the committee said there is a "substantial need for affordable housing" and "in Milford Haven there is an annual need for approximately 134 affordable dwellings".
The committee also approved an outline planning application from Hillwest Limited for 24 new homes on land off Slade Lane in Haverfordwest, despite an objection from the town council.
